Complete Dependence on God

God’s Statements:

I AM all that you need

When I created the world, everything was provided for.

I have not changed.

In My vision of creation, everything is free but you put a price tag on everything - including yourselves.

What God wants, as He had intended from the beginning, is for us to rely completely on Him. He is the life in us and the life around us.

Who and what do we depend on, in full or in part, to provide for us and to mold us and our lives?

We depend on ourselves
We depend on others
We depend on chance, circumstances and events
We depend on things (our possessions, technology, etc.)
We depend on good-luck charms, feng shui, astrological forecasts, prophecies, etc. Some depend on their “spirit friends”

We have led ourselves to believe that we don’t need God except for dire situations when we either cannot access what we want/need or it’s not available.

God’s Statements:

Believe in My greatness - not in your greatness or the greatness of others.

Question: What does it mean to be completely dependent on you?

God’s answer:

I Am the one who takes care of you.

Question: Why should I be completely dependent on You?

God’s answer:

because you can

Question: I have no doubt that You can do anything for me. Nothing is impossible for You. My question is will You?

God’s answer:

I want to.

Hand over your life to Me. I want to make life easy for you.

Abandon yourself and accept Me. Surrender your life to death and accept My life.

God also pointed out to me that I was having difficulty depending on Him completely because for me being completely dependent on other people is laziness. I am not helpless so I should do things for myself. I’m not stupid – I can think and decide for myself.
